Martin Harley

“I’m ready to make a bigger noise… Muddy Waters invented electricity right?”

Having created a deep impression on the acoustic blues roots and Americana scene with his last two Nashville recorded albums, Harleys gritty electric album ‘Roll With The Punches’ takes country blues riffs to the electric bottleneck slide guitar and serves them with sweet vocal harmonies. Recorded in a remote chapel deep in the wilds of Pembrokeshire, it features some of the UK’s finest musicians including Rex Horan on Bass, Harry Harding on drums and Jonny Henderson on Hammond organ.

This year Martin is nominated as Acoustic Blues Artist of the year and Instrumentalist of the year at the UK Blues Awards. Music Rader placed him #7 in the World Greatest Blues Guitarist poll. In 2018 Martin Harley was ranked #16 in the World’s Best Acoustic Guitarist in Total Guitar Magazine and he was nominated as Instrumentalist of the Year at the Americana Music Association UK Awards.

If success can be measured by growing global demand to attend Martin’s dynamic live performances, then perhaps his touring schedule is proof of that. He recently played to a full house at the Union Chapel in Islington, London and has appeared at Edmonton, Vancouver, Canmore and Calgary Folk Festivals in Canada, Glastonbury Festival, Bestival and Beautiful Days in the UK, numerous European and US tours and events including the Americana Music Association UK’s AmericanaFest in London, The Bluebird in Nashville and Tønder in Denmark.

This will be a unique chance to join Martin for an intimate live-streamed gig, where you can interact and even chat with Martin and ask questions - all from the comfort of your own home!

Ticketing

To purchase tickets for this event please click on ‘Register’ below. On the next page you can select ticket types and quantities.

We are offering three ticket types for this event:

- Standard ticket is the ‘normal’ price that we would charge for the event
- Pay a bit more is for those who can afford to, and would like to help support live music and our artists
- Pay a bit less is for those who would find the standard ticket a bit of a stretch, for whatever reason

You can purchase whichever ticket you like; you don’t need to give a reason, and you won’t be asked for any proof of need. For online events you only need to purchase one ticket per household/computer.

We are trialling this ticket system to help make our events more accessible to more people, and to allow those who would happily pay a bit more to do so easily, helping us to subsidise tickets for those who can’t afford them.
